Mumbai: Leading power transmission conductors provider Sterlite Technology Ltd has bagged four contracts worth $15.5 million with leading infrastructure companies in Nigeria, Uganda, Algeria and Bangladesh.

With this project, Sterlite will have a market share of 14 percent in Africa, with its power transmission conductors being sold in 21 countries across the continent.

Sterlite Technology director Pravin Agarwal said "These contract-wins are significant endorsement of our customer's confidence in Sterlite's technical capabilities and product reliability."

The company has manufacturing capacity of 115,000 tonnes making it the largest manufacturer in India with 27 percent market share.
